Mr. Andrew Deering of Centralia, formerly of Ashley, departed this life at Centralia Manor in Centralia, on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 11:50 a.m. He had attained the age of 82 years, two months and ten days.
Mr. Andrew Deering was born on October 14, 1932 in St. Louis, the son of Andrew and Theresa (Piechota) Deering, Sr. He was united in marriage to Pauline Sensel on February 23, 1952 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom, and she preceded him in death on August 25, 2011.
Andrew was a truck driver and a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family.
Left to mourn his passing are five children, Karen Deering of Centralia, Larry Deering and his wife Ruth of Breese, Kevin Deering and his wife Lisa of Bartelso, Randy Deering and special friend Diana Wall of Mascoutah, and Gary Deering and his wife Kelly of Ashley; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relation and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son, James; a daughter, Janet; a sister, Josephine Barczewski; a brother, Ernest Deering; and a nephew, Terry Deering.
Per the wishes of Andrew and his family, cremation will be performed and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, on Saturday, January 3, at 10 a.m. Burial of ashes will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
Should friends desire mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Michael’s Catholic Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
