Edna Fern Owens, 77, of Nashville passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville. She was born on September 13, 1937 in Centralia, the daughter of Archie and Helen Self Emrick Claybourne. She married L. Orville “Bud” Owens on October 15, 1955 in Centralia and he passed away on May 27, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a nephew, SSgt Jordan Emrick. Left to mourn her passing is a son, Barry D. Owens of Nashville; a grandson, Klayton Owens of Chester; two brothers, Noel Claybourne of Richview and Terry Emrick of Cynthiana, Ky.; two sisters, Eva Meadows of Walnut Hill and Judy Pauly of Centralia.

Mrs. Owens was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville.

Funeral services were held at on Wednesday, December 31 at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Jeff Van Dyke officiating. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Nashville.
