Nashville Community High School FFA Earns National Recognition
Under the supervision of Julie Bond-Ledford, the Nashville FFA Chapter was selected as a 3-Star Chapter for the National Chapter Award Program.
Two chapter members, Mark Dalman and Tianna Kozuszek, were recognized on stage for this prestigious award at the 87th annual National Convention held in Louisville, Ky. from Oct. 29 – Nov. 1.
More than 650 candidates nationwide submitted their National Chapter applications for judging after they were selected as the highest ranking chapters in their respective states.
This award ranks chapters 1, 2, or 3 stars, and Nashville was ranked a 3-Star Chapter, the highest award given by the National FFA.
The National FFA Chapter Award Program recognizes FFA Chapters for developing and conducting a detailed Program of Activities.
Each activity provides opportunities for members to excel in one of three areas: student, chapter, or community development.
Every year, chapters are recognized as having earned a one, two, or three-star rating on their application and the tree-star rating is the highest level of accomplishment a chapter may achieve.
By ranking in the top third of all chapters in America, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, this is a major accomplishment for the Nashville FFA Chapter and validates all of the hard work.
