Tri-County linemen have helped the co-op reach half-a-million hours with no lost time accidents.

Tri-County Electric Cooperative employees recently reached a significant milestone in working safely. They have worked 5 years and 500,000 hours without a lost-time accident by a full-time Tri-County Electric employee. This is a major accomplishment, and we commend and congratulate the cooperative employees for their dedication to working safely.

Every time a storm sweeps through our area, I am reminded of the hard work and dedication of our employees.

All employees have one common goal – to provide safe, reliable electric service to you, our members.

Our linemen also travel to other cooperatives to help restore power when sister cooperatives request our help.

In turn, employees from other cooperatives have come to help your cooperative when requested. It is wonderful to be part of such a strong electric cooperative network.

All employees, especially linemen, must be ready to respond when our members need them.

Employees that restore your power do so because they know that without their commitment, many of the things we’ve come to expect- heating, air conditioning, hot and cold food, lights, computers, television – wouldn’t be possible. They connect us to a better way of life.
