2015 Dairy Summit

A regional Illinois dairy meeting sponsored by Illinois Milk Producers Association and the University of Illinois Extension is scheduled at Kaskaskia College outside Centralia on January 22, 2015.

The program theme is “Economic Opportunities” including feeding check list, update on MPP and CAFO programs, U of IL research, dairy survey results, and a generation transfer producer panel.

The schedule for the January 22 session at Kaskaskia College in Centralia follows:

Panel: Generational Transfer of the Dairy Farm – Dave Fischer, Dairy Summit Coordinator. Hear from a local dairy farm  family and learn what they are doing to transfer their farming enterprise to the next generation of dairymen.
