January 14 Classic Photo: “Dig In!”
The call out from the January 14 Classic Photo, “Dig In!”resulted in Irvington-area historian Ralph McTall contacting The Nashville News. This photo though was more a matter of family than history for McTall though, who stated that the picture showed both Nancy Beguelin and his own mother, Evelyn McTall.
McTall had won 14 trees in a contest and was planting them in the new park. The photo was originally published on May 29, 1972.
