January 12

Police responded to St. Rt. 127 just south of Mockingbird Rd. for a three-vehicle traffic crash. Vehicles driven by Sarah Knowles, 43, of Cambria, and Crystal Hefner, 33, f Bonnie, were stopped in traffic on St. Rt. 127 at the stop light at Mockingbird Rd. when a vehicle driven by Javee Patron, 20, of DuBois, did not see the vehicle stopped in traffic and rear-ended Knowles’ vehicle, which in turn collided with Hefner’s vehicle. One female passenger complained of head injuries but refused to go to the hospital after EMS treatment. Patron was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

January 13

The Nashville Police Department took a report of a scam attempt. The scam was from a caller claiming to be with the IRS who said that the family called was on a watch list and that they owed money. The Police Department is urging residents not to give out any information and not send any money. If you are concerned, hang up and call the IRS yourself to inquire.

Police arrested Michael A. Snider for violation of bail bond after arriving at the residence to serve a no trespassing notice to him.

January 14

Police arrested Carlos Lopez, 43, of Wentzville, Mo., for driving with no valid license.

Police took a report of a lost/stolen wallet which was forgotten at Citgo.

Officers assisted Ems on a medical call at Innertech.

Police responded to Commerce Ave. for a report of suspicious activity.

January 15

Police took a report of a traffic crash in Innertech’s parking lot.

Officers responded to the 600 block of N. Grand Ave. for suspicious activity.

Police responded to Holzhauer’s for a suspicious vehicle there after hours.

January 16

Police responded to Girolamo’s Restaurant in response to a minor traffic accident. Police spoke to David N. Rowland, of Trenton, and to Clarence S. Kellerman, of Tamaroa. Kellerman stated that he accidentally slight accelerated instead of braking, which caused him to rear-end a park vehicle in front of the restaurant.

Officers responded to S. Mill at E. Holzhauer’s Drive for a suspicious vehicle.

January 17

Police assisted animal control with a complaint on the 100 block of E. Angie Ave.

Officers took a report at the Police Department of a child custody visitation interference.

Police responded to Memorial Park for a report of a suspicious person.

January 18

Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Chester St. for a domestic disturbance.

Police took a report of a child custody visitation interference from the 600 block of W. Walnut St.
