A Good Meal, A Good Deal, A Great Cause
No matter if you’re young or old, if you and that “special someone” are looking for a romantic evening, check out the Valentine Dinner being held on Saturday, February 7, hosted by the St. Ann Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM).
The supper will begin at 5:45 p.m., right after mass finishes. Guests will be served roast beef, roast pork, baked potato, vegetables, rolls, dessert, tea, lemonade, water and coffee. There will also be complimentary beer and wine for guests.
The food is just the beginning though. The members of the CYM work hard to transform the setting of the evening from a mere school gymnasium into a candlelit ballroom.
You can’t have a ballroom without music though, and those taking part in the event will be hearing live music courtesy of the Country Road Cruizers.
The cost for this magical evening is a mere $15 a person, a deal for a romantic evening on the town. That money doesn’t just pay for food, drinks and music though, it helps to support the activities of the St. Ann’s CYM, specifically the youth group’s Mission Work Projects, where members will travel to work, aiding charitable causes.
Reservations for the Valentine Dinner must be received no later than Wednesday, Feb. 4. Please call the St. Ann Parish office at 327-3232. For more information about this event, please contact CYM advisor Rick Harris at 599-2910.
