County Offices To Move For Courthouse Renovation
Renovation of the Washington County Courthouse will begin on March 2, 2015. The renovation project is expected to last 16 months. During this time, the present offices of the Supervisor of Assessments, Treasurer, and County Clerk will be relocated to the Nashville Community Center. These offices will be located on the first floor of the Community Center. Visitors to these respective offices should enter the building at the north entrance from the large parking lot. There is also direct access to the first floor from the east entrance of the Community Center.
The offices will begin moving during the month of February on a staggered schedule. The offices will move from the Courthouse to the Community Center on the following days:
• Monday, February 2, 2015 – Supervisor of Assessments
• Monday, February 9, 2015 – County Treasurer
• Monday, February 16, 2015 – County Clerk
County services conducted by these offices will be limited on the business day before, day of, and possibly day after, the scheduled date listed above.
Phone numbers and mailing address of the affected offices will remain the same during the renovation project.
The Washington County Zoning office, 911 office, and Washington County Ambulance offices will remain at their present location.
The Washington County Board and the offices of the County Clerk, County Treasurer, and Supervisor of Assessments thank you in advance for your patience during the relocation of the offices. We will strive to minimize any inconveniences that may arise during the renovation project. We look forward to serving the community, and also a newly renovated courthouse that will serve Washington County citizens for many years.
