With wins over Tamaroa-St. Bruno and Waltonville to finish the regular season, the St. Ann Saints will now look to make some noise in the postseason.
The Saints stayed hot with a 47-26 win over Tamaroa-St. Bruno last Tuesday.
St. Ann used an 18-1 run in the first quarter to build an unassailable lead over St. Bruno.
Jacob Maschhoff led a balanced scoring attack with nine points. Terry Pelczynski and Nick Miller scored eight apiece, Todd Jahnke went for seven, and Ethan Herzog tallied six. Tabor Kozuszek scored six points and Nicholas Orr and Cole Malawy rounded out the scoring with two points apiece.
A 50-28 win over Waltonville in the regular season finale upped the Saints’ record to 17-8.
St. Ann blew a close game wide open by outscoring Waltonville 19-4 in the third quarter.
Pelczynski scored 13 points to pace his squad, and Maschhoff added ten more. Jahnke had seven points, Kozuszek scored six, Herzog finished with four, Orr had three and Lane Henderson and Patrick Combs chipped in two points apiece for the Saints.
