Daniel Arthur “Danny” Wilson, 76, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:12 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
Danny had been office manager at Imgrams Automotive. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville. He was also a member of the American Legion. Danny was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born November 5, 1938 in Ashley, the son of Arthur and Vivian (McNail) Wilson.
He married Ella M. Hill on October 28, 1961 at Grace Baptist Church in Tamaroa and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa; two daughters, Dana Jackson and husband Gary of Salem, and Amy Anselment and Cory Aussieker of Nashville; three grandchildren, Cora Thorson, Daniel Thorson and Brandee Anselment; two brothers, Tom Wilson and wife Darlene of Oak Hill, Fla., and Wayne Wilson and wife Diane of Ashley; two sisters, Zona Livsay and husband Jim of Centralia and Juanita Likens and husband Don of Woodlawn; and one sister-in-law, Sherri Wilson of Mt. Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Russell Wilson.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 11 at the Searby Funeral Home at Tamaroa with Rev. Les Boldt officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church in Nashville and will be accepted at the funeral home.
