District 49 Happenings

Thursday night, Feb. 12 was a busy evening for the Nashville Primary School District 49 community. In addition to the annual science fair (see page A5 of today’s Nashville News), the school also hosted a wurst markt, top, with parent volunteers doling out sausages, kraut, potatoes and more, and a Scholastic Book Fair, below, where forth-grader Gavin Ivey, 9, reads “Disasters: The Biggest Disasters in History from Salt in the Indus Valley to Hurricane Sandy.”
