Nashville Chamber Holds General Membership Meeting

Richard Cornelius, Loan Officer For Community Trust Bank, spoke to Chamber Members at the Chamber Meeting held Wednesday, February 11.

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce had their General Membership meeting on Wednesday, February 11 and Rosalee Boreup was voted as Volunteer of the Year.

Director Doris Povolish reported that the office has been painted and she has been working on the membership drive.

There are some new or returning members and this includes 2 Brothers Antiques, Jean McLaughlin, Lacey’s Barber Shop, Precision Soya, Regions Bank and Rachel Kried Photography.

The Chicken & Beer Dance with the Beaucoup Bottom Band is on February 28 at the American Legion Home. There will also be a Wine Walk during the band intermissions. Tickets are available at the Chamber Office or other locations in Nashville. Call the office at 327-3700 for more information.

Board member Sara Habbe talked about a new event for the businesses, which is Spring Madness, much like Moonlight Madness in the Fall, but there will be some differences to make it its own event.
