The Hoyleton Lions Consignment Sale was a successful event held at the Community Club Building this past Saturday. The Lions express appreciation to all who attended, consigned, and donated items for the Auction.

The sermon for March 1 at Zion United Church of Christ in Hoyleton will be “Our Lenten Journey Continues.” Using Scripture readings from Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16 and Mark 8:31-38, we will continue our introspective, Lenten Journey. Zion’s pastor, Reverand Howard Self will help each person examine their own conscious thoughts and feelings related to one’s faith — taking an examination of one’s own soul. Such introspection forces the listener to ask the question, “What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” Worship begins at 10 a.m. this Sunday morning. All are welcome!
