Relies On Volunteers For Success

February brings excavation and construction to the new Kaskaskia College Education Center site. Other related activities also continue throughout the county and are coordinated by campaign volunteers. Nashville community members Karen Droste and Steve Groner took advantage of a recent sunny day to check the campaign progress posted on the fund raising “thermometer,” stationed at the corner of state routes 127 and 15.

Karen and Steve are responsible for building project awareness and support with Washington County merchants. The team is comprised of volunteers and will be making visits throughout the county to answer questions, provide updates and to ask for financial support. This Retail Team is assembling a special insert for the Nashville News March 11th issue, with proceeds going to the new center. The insert will enable local merchants to show project support while promoting their business. Individuals are also welcome to show their support, and to buy an ad for the new education center.

Please contact Steve Groner at 618-545-3260 or Karen Droste at 618-246-3410 for more information and easy ordering.
