Police Report

February 16

Nashville Police received a report of a vehicle parked on Enterprise Ave. with its hazard lights on. Police made contact with Ayla Jones, 22 of Sparta, and discovered that a domestic dispute had taken place between her and Cory Dixon, 27 of Sparta, who had since walked to Hillbilly BBQ. Police spoke to both subjects and separated them as a result of the domestic dispute. Both subjects also received notice to appear citations for possession of drug paraphernalia that was recovered from their vehicle.

February 17

The police department took a report of IRS tax return fraud from the 300 block of E. Alton Street.

Nashville Police handled a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Nashville Motel, 346 E. St. Louis St. A vehicle driven by Brian Miller, of Nashville, backed into a vehicle owned by Randall Bartlett, of Nashville. A report was taken on the accident.

The police department took a report of a child custody dispute in the 700 block of S. Mill Street.

February 19

Nashville Police towed an abandoned vehicle that was a traffic hazard on N. Mill Street at E. Maple Street.

The police department took a report of a gas drive-off from Casey’s.

Nashville Police took a report of a domestic battery that occurred in the 600 block of W. Center Street.

February 21

The sheriff’s office requested police assistance with a domestic disturbance.

Nashville Police responded to the 200 block of N. Washington Street for a suicidal subject.

February 22

The police department took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 400 block of W. High Street.

Nashville Police took a report of phone harassment from the 500 block of W. Adams Street.
