February 18
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Wamac Police Department, reference a subject needing medical assistance.
The sheriff’s office took a report of attempted fraud from a resident of rural Hoyleton.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a one vehicle accident on W. Superior and St. Rt. 177 near Irvington. Jacquelyn N. Bailey lost control of the vehicle and struck the ditch and overturned. No injuries reported.
The sheriff’s office assisted a resident of Oakdale with the removal of an unwanted subject.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a desk report of an accident occurring on State Route 153. A vehicle driven by Tina M. Gregory, 54, of Oakdale, was traveling north-bound on St. Rt. 153 when a vehicle traveling south-bound struck her driver’s side mirror.
February 19
The sheriff’s office responded to a motorist assist in Hoyleton.
Victoria L. Voytas, 59 of Coulterville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for failure to appear.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Chickadee Rd. near Okawville for suspicious activity.
February 20
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on the lot of Road Ranger truck stop in Okawville. Benne R. Smith, 48 of San Bernadino, CA, backed into Jimmie D. Merrimann’s, 56 of Richmond, MO, trailer.
The sheriff’s office reported a vehicle driven by Moses Santiago, 41 of Nashville, lost control of the vehicle due to ice and was stuck in a ditch on Connecticut Rd. and Lebanon Rd. near Nashville. There were no injuries reported and no damage to the vehicle.
February 21
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an IDOT plow truck in the ditch just south of Fillmore Road on State Route 127. Plow truck was removed and returned to plowing.
The sheriff’s office responded to a motorist assist in Nashville.
February 22
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office completed a welfare check in rural Hoyleton.
The sheriff’s office responded to a residence in Irvington regarding a civil matter.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Keely E. Burnley, 23 of Nashville, for an outstanding Washington County warrant.
Washington County Deputies arrested Justin Maschhoff, 30 of Hoyleton, for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated driving under the influence of a controlled substance and improper lane usage. Tia M. Robertson, 25 of Carlyle, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
February 23
Melissa Williams, 44 of Okawville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for driving under the influence.
