Allie Marie Borowiak and Scott Michael Ravanesi were united in marriage on December 13, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden. Pastor Timothy Mueller officiated.
Allie is the daughter of Mike and Sherrie Borowiak of Nashville and the granddaughter of Lee and MaryAnn Borowiak of Nashville and the late Reimond and Alice Heseman of New Minden. The groom is the son of Steve and Karen Ravanesi of Carol Stream. The bride chose her sisters, Annie Borowiak and Mollie Borowiak as her Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids were Jackie and Angela Ravanesi, sisters of the groom, Megan Rosa and Jessie Kottmeyer, cousins of the bride, and Katie Kinder and Katie Gerlach, friends of the couple. Flower girl was Ava Habbe, cousin of the bride.
Chris Hennessey, friend of the couple, served as best man. Groomsmen were , Brian Corcoran, cousin of the groom, Zach Borowiak, brother of the bride, and John Malizzio, Sammy Biggs, Dan Saurez, Kyle Harruff and Ryan Kernes, all friends of the couple. Graedon Kottmeyer, cousin of the bride, was ring barrier. Guests were seated by Jon Habbe and Quentin Heseman, cousins of the bride, Patrick Corcoran, cousin of the groom, and Kyle Skarb, future brother-in-law of the groom.
A reception, dinner and dance was held at The Regency in O’Fallon.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Nashville Community High School, a 2010 graduate of Southeast Missouri University and a 2013 graduate of McKendree University having completed her Masters in Administration. Allie is currently employed as a Special Education teacher at Plainfield High School.
Scott is a 2006 graduate of Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream and a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale having received his Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing. Scott is currently employed with the Assurance Agency in Schaumburg.
The couple resides in Addison.
