Brett L. Hebert, 34, of Hoyleton, was arrested and charged with domestic battery for allegedly making physical contact of a provocative nature with a member of his household on Nov. 23, 2014. At a court appearance on Feb. 24, Hebert appeared with counsel. Per plea negotiations, the charge was amended to battery. Hebert plead guilty to the amended charge and was sentenced to 12 months of court supervision and was fined $500. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim except for child visitation or other issues related to the children.
