Reinburg Named IBCA Coach Of The Year
The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has named Will Reinburg, Nashville Middle School boys’ basketball head coach, as Coach of the Year for District #20.
Coach Reinburg’s Junior Hornets squad finished the 2014-15 season with a perfect 27-0 record (a new school record for wins) on the way to the SIJHSAA State Title. The team was also first in the Junior South Western Egyptian Conference and took first in the Okawville Tournament. It was the second straight year Reinburg and the Junior Hornets won conference and regional titles.
His overall record as coach of the Junior Hornets is 57-16. Reinburg as a career junior high coaching record of 267-83.
Coach Reinburg will be honored at Illinois State University on May 2 when he will be presented with his Coach of the Year award to recognize his outstanding accomplishments.
He lives in Nashville with his wife, Megan, and their children, Trey, Tyse and Teagan.
