The Trinity-St. John volleyball team took third at the St. John-Chester Tournament last weekend.

TSJ opened tournament play with 25-13, 23-25, 15-12 win over St. John Red Bud.

In the semifinal, the host school was too much for Trinity. The local girls finished on the wrong end of a 25-16, 19-25, 15-11 score.

That set up a third place matchup with St. Mary-Chester, and TSJ came out on top 21-25, 26-24, 15-13.

Earlier in the week, Trinity beat Hoyleton 25-20, 25-13 in the A-game and 25-17, 25-20 in the B-game. The C-team also lost to Hoyleton.

TSJ fell to New Horizon last Thursday. The A-team lost 22-25, 24-26 and the B-team fell 13-25, 19-25. The C-team managed to split its game against New Horizon.
