Rennegarbes Celebrate 50 Years Of Marriage
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Rennegarbe celebrated their 50th anniversary with a dinner and dance on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Okawville Community Club with friends and family.
Gene & Carolyn were married on February 14, 1965 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Okawville.
Special guests were Gene’s mother, Mrs. Gertrude Rennegarbe, age 94, to see her son’s 50th anniversary, bridesmaids Marlene Wolf and husband Curtis of Addieville, Mary Wilhelm and husband Monte of East Carondelet, Mrs. Lois Luther of Okawville, Mrs. Eunice Stiegman and husband Rockford of Nashville, and flower girl Mrs. Annette Eade and husband Bill of Addieville.
Groomsmen attending were Mr. Earl Boester and wife Judy of Shelbyville, Mr. roger Borrenpohl and wife Joyce of Venedy, Mr. Gerald Luechtefeld and wife Joan of Oakdale, Rev. Ronald Rennegarbe & wife Paula of Huntington Beach, CA.
Those unable to attend that were in the wedding party were Mrs. Sandy Ritzel, Mr. Donald Rennegarbe, and Mrs. Amy Minges.
Gene & Carolyn reside in rural Addieville on a farm. They have 3 children; Jeanette Cortner and husband Brian, Chris Rennegarbe and wife Denise, and Mark Rennegarbe and wife Kimberly. They have 8 grandchildren; Elizabeth, Emily, Tricia, Megan, Madisyn, Addysen, Jackson, and Alexa.
