‘Beauty For Ashes’ Theme For Conference At Nashville Assembly Of God
What happens when life leaves ashes in its wake? Is it possible to ever know beauty again?
Encounter the Wonder 2015 “Beauty for Ashes” is the seventh annual women’s two day conference hosted by The Healing Place (Nashville Assembly of God), set for March 20-21 at the church, located at 1920 S. Mill Street, Nashville. This year’s conference will focus on God’s restoration of what had once or still is broken within, a time where women can safely gather and discover the wonders God has for them.
Featured speaker this year is Rev. Trisha Peach from DeSoto. Trisha is a widely traveled speaker in the areas of children’s and youth ministries, and has interacted extensively in ministering to women and families. She is a recently published author with a second book in progress. In addition to the main sessions featuring Trisha, there will be Saturday break-out sessions covering a wide range of topics. Also, for those in attendance on Saturday, lunch will be provided as part of the conference registration. Powerful worship, engaging skits, special testimonies and more will all be part of an incredible opportunity for women of all ages and walks of life to find God’s intended beauty for each one.
Cost for the conference is $25 for both Friday night (7 – 9:30 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Friday only is $10, and Saturday only is $20. Registration is available at the door upon arrival. For questions about this exciting opportunity, contact Pastor Syd Osenbaugh at 618-327-6141.
