NMS Volleyball Splits Four Matches
Nashville Middle School earned a split in four matches during a busy week of volleyball action last week.
Last Monday, the Junior Hornettes took down Rome in three games, 25-16, 20-25, 15-11.
NMS dropped the second game after winning the first before outplaying Rome 15-11 in the final match to notch the win.
DuQuoin knocked off Nashville the following night 25-23, 14-25, 7-15.
After winning a tight first set, the Junior Hornettes dropped two straight games to come up short in the match.
It only took a day for the Junior Hornettes to rebound as they beat Trico 21-25, 25-17, 16-14 last Wednesday.
Murphy ended Nashville’s busy week on a low note, beating the Junior Hornettes 25-15, 25-6 Thursday.
Following the busy week, NMS’s record stands at 7-5.
