Frances Sieving of St. Louis, formerly of Venedy, departed this life in the Hidden Lakes Care Center in Florissant, Mo., on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2:40 a.m. She had attained the age of 102 years, one month and seven days.
Frances was born in Venedy on February 16, 1913 the daughter of William and Anna (nee Meyer) Sieving. She attended the St. Salvator Lutheran Grade School in Venedy.
Miss Sieving worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services in the Nashville office for 35 years until her retirement. She was a former member of the St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy where she was baptized and confirmed. She was currently a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Bellefountaine Neighbors, Mo.
Left to mourn her passing are numerous cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Sieving and two sisters, Ruth and Esther Sieving.
Funeral Services will be held at the St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy on Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Eldon Winker officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Concordia Seminary or to the Lutheran Hour Ministries and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
