NCHS Students Compete In Drafting Contest
Kaskaskia College recently sponsored the 34th Annual I.D.E.A. (Illinois Drafting Educators Association) Drafting Contest. The participants competed in eight separate divisions: Assembly Modeling, 3D CAD Modeling, Introductory CAD, Machine CAD, Architectural CAD 3D, Introductory Board, Architectural Board, and Architectural CAD 2D. Students from Nashville who won awards were Anthony Harper, first in Architectural CAD 3D; Daniel Thorson, third in Architectural CAD 3D; Abigail Hall, first in Architectural Board; and Caleb Hallock, second in Introductory CAD. All first and second place winners are eligible to compete at the State I.D.E.A. Contest at Illinois State University.
