Theresa A. Mueller

Mrs. Theresa Mueller of Ellisville, Mo., formerly of Okawville, departed this life in Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, Mo., on Saturday, March 21, 2015. She had attained the age of 97 years, four months and 21 days.

Theresa was born in St. Louis on October 31, 1917 the daughter of Lenhardt and Theresa (nee Merkler) Wolff. She was united in marriage to Harold L. Mueller in Okawville on October 5, 1957, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1992.

Mrs. Mueller worked for the civil service at Scott Air Force Base as a secretary. She was a member of the St. Barbara Catholic Church in Okawville where she was a former member of the Altar Sodality and had formerly taught PSR. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is a daughter, Theresa Hoch and husband Gregory of Ballwin, Mo.; two grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Harold Mueller and two brothers, Jacob and Joseph Wolff.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Barbara Catholic Church in Okawville on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. with Fr. Steven Poole officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
