An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Okawville High School Thursday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 6 from 1:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Nashville Knights of Columbus.
On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, relatives and friends attended the wedding of Jill Wolf, daughter of Brenda Wolf and the late Gail Wolf, and Devin Clary, son of David and Jennifer Clary, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Plum Hill. The reception followed at the St. Libory America Legion Hall with a dinner and dance. Devin got his princess, Jilly got her hunk. Congratulations to the happy couple.
Ken Lintker, manager of Gateway F.S. in Venedy, will retire Friday, March 27 after 39 years of service. Best wishes on your retirement.

Howard and Cindy McHenry of Wisconsin arrived in the area Wednesday. On Saturday morning, they motored to Columbia, Mo., to visit relatives and friends.
Saturday, March 28 is the Oakdale Eggstravaganza and Addieville UCC drawdown at the Community Club Hall.
Some area residents attended the Heritage House Museum Banquet Tuesday at the Okawville American Legion Home. Barbara Kay of Highland portrayed the Unsinkable Molly Brown, which was very nice. Heritage Days will be June 12-14 at the Schlossa Museum House.
The only preparation for tomorrow is the right use of today.
