Clinton County Cougars Win Gold Medal

The Clinton County Cougars Special Olympic Basketball team also took home the Gold Medal in their division at the Illinois Special Olympic State Basketball tournament held at Illinois Wesleyan University and Illinois State University March 14-15. They won their first game against the Douglas Huskies 45-16 and won the second game against the Tiger Sharks 64-20. Kelcie Calvin and Michelle Peters were named the Ron Knisley Spirit of the Game Award winners.
