I want to take this opportunity to share the Richview United Methodist Church Holiday schedule: Good Friday Service will be Friday evening at 6:30. Easter Sunday Sunrise Service will be at 6:30 with the regular Sunday School and Worship Service at 9:00 and 10:00 respectively. You all come and share the death and

Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with your RUMC neighbors.

Royal Neighbors will help stuff Easer eggs tonight at the RUMC at 6, so stop on by we could use the help.

The Richview United Methodist Church will be having an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday afternoon, April 4, at 2. All Richview and Richview Township children and grandchildren ages 0-12 are welcome to attend. In addition to the hunt, there will be games and prizes in the basement.

Shelby Edward will graduate May 16th with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. It’s had for me to believe how Shelby has grown since I moved to Richview in 1999.

Donna Gambill will be retiring after this school year. That is great for the Richview area because I’m sure she has plans for the kids here in town.

A friend I went to Pana High School with, Eileen, came down Saturday to pick up a lamp and foot stool she saw pictured on ‘Shakes & Ladders’ Facebook page. Eileen lives in northern Indiana now and made the trip with one of her traveling friends. So nice to see how Facebook can bring old friends and acquaintances back together again after many years apart. Happy Spring MLRP.

Happy Birthday wishes are in order for Larry Niederhofer and Nancy Clark.

Happy 47th Wedding Anniversary to Johnnie and Sue Mayberry.

Did you all see the snow Friday morning, big fat fluffy flakes.

More Florida ‘snowbirds’ are returning to the Midwest this week. There’s a reason this time of the year is called the ‘Exodus’ in places like Arizona and Florida, literally thousands of “Snow Birds” are leaving daily this time of the year and heading back home.

The Richview Village Board has set the day for the ‘town wide’ rummage sale for Saturday, June 6, from 7 – 12. There seems to be a lot of interest building, maybe we all are ready to get rid of ‘stuff’. Just found out this evening that Ashley and Random are having theirs on the 6th also.

Yoga classes are on Tuesday and Thursday at the Richview United Methodist Church from 9:30 – 10:30.

The Richview United Methodist Church Women’s Prayer and Share group meet every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the church: Local women meeting together to pray for the concerns of each other, the community and the world. Bring your prayer requests and join the group.
