Ryterski, Wolk Wed On New Year’s Eve
Renee Emily Ryterski and Tanner Jordan Wolk were united in marriage on December 31, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights.
Renee is the daughter of Bob and Laura Ryterski of Nashville. The groom is the son of Mike and Sharon Wolk of Ste. Genevieve, Mo. The bride chose her cousin, Tara Ryterski, as her maid of honor while Christine Litteken, friend of the bride, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Grote, Bethany Hinkle, Jessica Smith, Brittany Goforth, Brianne Steinkamp and Fran Windler, all friends of the bride. Alexia Wolk, godchild of the groom, was chosen as the miniature bride and Aila Wolk, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl.
Derrick Wolk, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Clint and Jerrod Wolk, brothers of the groom, Ross Ryterski, brother of the bride, and Mike Sobol, Taylor Huck, A.J. Ciccarelli and Adam Hicks, friends of the groom. Elijah Wolk, nephew of the groom was the miniature groom. Madden Wolk, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Guests were ushered in by Ryan Ryterski, cousin of the bride and Brandon Cabot, Wade Lowe and Kyle Williams all friends of the groom.
A reception, dinner and dance was held at Turner Hall in Columbia. Guest in attendance helped the couple ring in the New Year.
Renee is a 2006 graduate of Nashville Community High School, graduate of Rend Lake College and a graduate of McKendree University in Lebanon with a Master’s degree in educational leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education mathematics. She is employed by O’Fallon Township High School as a math teacher. Tanner is a 2006 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School and a graduate of McKendree University with a Master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a Marketing Representative with Federated Insurance.
The couple resides in Fairview Heights.
