January 28 Classic Photo: “Talking Shop”

Connie (Haege) Williamson contacted the Nashville News to let us know that the two women in the January 28 classic photo were her, on the left, and Fran (Nail) Walker on the right.

The photo was taken when they were visiting SIU-C, probably in 1967, their senior year at NCHS. They were evaluating the Home Economics program which was offered there at the time. Both of them intended to become teachers.
