NLGL April Meeting Held At Girolamo’s
The April meeting of the Nashville Ladies Golf League was held on Tuesday, April 7 at Girolamos Restaurant. The meeting was called to order by co-president Palma Stiegman. New members Nancy Schmale, Karen Lankheit and Bev Miller were welcomed.
Old Business: A $500 donation from the Ladies League was given to the golf course, but the work has not yet been started on the ladies teebox on hole #5.
New Business: Discussion was held about getting the fliers mailed out for the June 13 Ladies tournament.
Tina LaBusier made a motion to increase the entry fee by$4, making the fee $220 per team, or $55 per person. Motion was accepted.
Tuesday tee times for April and May were announced: 10 a.m. for April, and 9 a.m. in May, weather permitting. Evening tee time is at 5 p.m.
April is practice month and players will start recording scores in May.
Announcements: The filing cabinet at Golf Course was cleaned out by the officers and they are encouraging the members to use some of the items left in the cabinet for the monthly scrambles.
A dessert sign up sheet was circulated for volunteers to make desserts for the April 25 Relay For Life luncheon. Purple bows and luminarias are also available for purchase.
