Police Report

March 30

Officers responded to a two-car crash in the Hardee’s parking lot. Larry Erwin, of O’Fallon, and Steve Barrenpohl, of Venedy collided in the parking lot.

Police responded to Dollar General for a report of a female subject attempting to steal a purse. Police were able to identify the female suspect as Debbie Pierce, 52, of Nashville. Police located Pierce at her residence at 175 W. Alton St. She was arrested and charged with retail theft.

The Nashville Police Department took a report of fraud from the 1600 block of S. Lorene Drive.

Officers took a report of IRS fraud from the 800 block of E. Adams St.

Police took a report of a phone scam from the 1100 block of S. Washington St.

Officers responded to Community Ave. for missing juveniles. Police located the juveniles.

March 31

Officers responded to the Kroger parking lot for a minor traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Jane McFeron, 64, of Nashville, side-swiped a parked vehicle driven by Barbara DeMoss, 82, of Nashville.

Police responded to the 300 block of E. Maple St. for a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Community Ave. for a 911 hangup.

Police responded to Innertech for a 911 hangup.

April 1

Police took a report of IRS fraud from the 100 block of E. Masonic dr.

Officers took a report of identity theft from the 500 block of W. Center St.

Police arrested Salvador Tapia, of Hoffman, for driving with no valid drivers license.

Officers responded to the 800 block of S. Mill St. for a child custody dispute.

Police responded to McDonald’s for a 911 hangup.

Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Mill St. for a 911 hangup.

Officers responded to the 800 block of S. Mill St. for a domestic dispute.

Police responded to McDonald’s for a 911 hangup.

April 2

Police arrested Kenneth Abernbathy on a Washington County warrant for failure to appear.

Officers responded to an alarm on the 900 block of E. St. Louis St.

Police took a report of an IRS fraud from the 1300 block of W. Jefferson Dr.

Officers responded to the 200 block of W. Walnut St. for a parking complaint.

Police took a property damage report from the 500 block of E. Maple St.

April 3

Police took a report of property damage from the 500 block of E. Lebanon St.

April 4

Officers responded to W. Second St. near Frank St. for a two vehicle traffic accident. A vehicle driven by Cody Kiefer, 16, of Nashville, accidentally drove into a parked tractor trailer owned by Beelman Truck Co. No injuries were reported.

Police took a report of phone harassment from the 100 block of E. Angie Ave.

Officers assisted with a property exchange on the 600 block of S. Kaskaskia St.

Police took a report of a gas drive-off from Citgo.

Officers arrested Christopher Nance, of Nashville, for driving with no valid Drivers License.

April 5

Police responded to the 1500 block of W. St. Louis St. for a civil dispute.

Officers responded twice to the Spectrum House of W. Goodner St. for an uncontrollable resident.

April 6

Officers arrested Ronald Gillihan, 48, of Benton, for driving under the influence. He was also issued a non-traffic citation for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic citation for improper lane usage.

Police were requested to assist the Sheriff’s Department with a traffic crash.

Officers responded to the 200 block of W. Walnut St. for a parking complaint.

Police responded to the park for a suspicious vehicle.

April 7

Officers met with a subject requesting Ministerial Alliance aid. The subject was denied.

April 8

EMS requested police assistance at Nascote for a combative subject.

Police took a report of IRS fraud from the 400 block of S. Broadway.

Police took a report of IRS fraud from the 1300 block of W. Jefferson St.

Officers took a report of a phone scam from the 300 block of W. High St.

Police assisted the county with an alarm on Windswept Dr.

Police assisted the county at the Jail with an unruly inmate.

April 9

Officers responded to the 17800 block of Exchange Ave. for a 911 hangup call.

Police responded to the 900 block of W. Vernor St. for an unwanted subject.

Officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic crash in Casey’s Parking Lot.

April 10

Officers responded to Butcher Engineering in reference to two employees forced to leave under suspicion of them being under the influence. Police located the two male subjects walking near Citgo. Police subsequently arrested Brett Alcorn, of Centralia, on a Jackson County probation violation warrant.

Police responded to Little Nashville for a subject requesting Ministerial Alliance aid. The subject was denied.

Officers assisted with a child custody exchange on the 600 block of S. Kaskaskia St.

April 11

Police responded to a stuck vehicle in the ditch on Mockingbird Dr.

Officers took a report of IRS fraud from the 900 block of S. Heaman St.

Officers took a report of IRS fraud from the 200 block of W. Elm St.

April 12

Police responded to the 800 block of N. Kaskaskia St. for a civil dispute.

Officers assisted EMS with a medical call on the 100 block of S. Paul St.

Police responded to the Fuzzy Duck Saloon for a female subject being kicked out but not leaving. When police arrived, the subject passed out. EMS arrived and transported her to the hospital.

Officers responded to the 300 block of W. High St. for a report of threats.

April 13

Police responded to the Fuzzy Duck Saloon for a disturbance.

Officers responded to the 700 block of E. St. Louis St. for a bat inside the residence.
