Trinity-Hoyleton Sends Two To State Meet
The Trinity Hoyleton Hurricane Track team competed in the Good Shepherd Collinsville Track Meet on Saturday at Collinsville High School. The team qualified two athletes for the Lutheran State Track Meet in Sydney Schnitker and Brooke Bowman.
Schnitker qualified in three events by taking first in both the long jump and triple jump events, and second in the hurdles. She was also a member of th 800-meter relay team.
Bowman finished second and qualified for LSA in the shot put.

5th Grade: Zachary Kasten – 5th 4×200 Relay (6th grade division); Emily Schnitker – 1st Triple Jump, 2nd Long Jump, 2nd 400M; Lilly Taft – 1st Shot Put, 3rd Ball Throw; Joey Warren – 5th 4×200 Relay (6th grade division)
6th Grade Division: Madison Draege – 4th Ball Throw; Gabriel Fieber – 4th Hurdles, 5th 4×200 Relay; Tyson Huge – 5th 4×200 Relay; AllieJade Zalos – 1st Triple Jump, 2nd 400M and 4th 4×200 Relay (8th grade division).
8th Grade Division: Brooke Bowman – 2nd Shot Put and State Qualifier; Mollee Eickmeyer – 4th 4×200 Relay & 5th Triple Jump; Kaly Huge – 4th 4×200 Relay.
