Ashley Royal Neighbors Donate Blankets To SAFE

Ashley Royal Neighbors Chapter #4517 presented 24 “Magic Blankets” to SAFE in Centralia April 7 for their clients use and comfort. These were purchased with Ashley RNA funds and qualifies for the Women Focus community service project for the second quarter 2015. After talking to SAFE Advocate Coordinator Pam Bird in March, the Chapter found that all but one of the 23 blankets that were donated in February had been presented to SAFE clients. It seemed there was a need for more blankets, and the Chapter decided to donate again to help meet the needs of SAFE clients. Since April is Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness month this seemed like an appropriate time to complete this project.
