Friends Of Library Book Sale This Weekend

For terrific buys on books, visit the Friends of the Nashville Public Library Spring Book Sale, April 23-25. The preview sale takes place Thursday, April 23, from 5 – 8 p.m. in the library. There is a $5 admission charge on the night of the preview sale, but people have first selection on materials for sale.

There is no charge for the regular book sale on Friday, April 24, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Beginning at noon on Saturday, there will be a bag sale for all books, except for newer, higher-priced books. The Washington County Master Gardeners’ Spring Plant Swap will also be taking place in the west parking lot adjacent to the library on April 25, beginning at 8 a.m.

The book sale offers many great buys on used books, with many books in like-new condition. Some records, videos, audio books, and music CDs will also be for sale. Regular hardback books sell for 50 cents each or three books for $1. Regular paperback books sell for 25 cents each or five books for $1. Items in like-new condition range from 50 cents to $3 and are specially marked.
