Ryan Ryterski was among McKendree University’s outstanding students introduced at an Honors Convocation on April 23 during the university’s Academic Excellence Celebration.
Ryterski, a graduate student from Nashville, was recognized for business administration by the School of Business MBA Program.
Graduate and undergraduate honorees were selected by full-time faculty members based responsible citizenship, engagement, academic excellence and lifelong learning.
Kaskaskia College hosted the annual Section 21 Dairy Judging CDE April 10. FFA members from Section 21 had the opportunity to judge seven classes of dairy cattle based on factors including frame, dairy strength, udder, and rear feet and legs. With 55 teams competing altogether, there were approximately 300 members in attendance. In the KC Invitational, Kane Lamczyk was the second high individual and Kari Hake was the third high individual. Kane was also the top placing senior and was awarded an 18 credit hour scholarship from the KC Ag program. In the Section Dairy Judging Contest the team won first place and Kane was the first place individual and Kari was the second place individual.
