On Saturday, the Washington County Master Gardeners held their annual plant swap in conjunction with the Nashville Public Library Spring Book Sale.
Numerous locally produced garden and vegetable plants were traded.
Plants available included bedding plants, potted house plants, shade trees and even some tomato plants.
All plants were available for trade.
Small donations were accepted in lieu of plants for trade.
Master Gardeners serve as volunteers for the University of Illinois, Cooperative Extension Service. The Master Gardeners offer assistance and technical service on county programs to promote education on home gardening.
The next Master Gardeners Plant Swap is planned for the fall at the Nashville Fall Festival.
