Police Report
April 13
The Nashville Police Department took a report of property damage on the 600 block of W. Alton St.
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on S. Mill St. at E. Adams St. A vehicle driven by Dylan Kujawa, of DuBois, attempted to turn onto S. Mill St., but did not see a vehicle driven by Greg Guest, of Nashville, approaching. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
Officers were requested to assist at a property exchange on the 300 block of W. High St.
April 14
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on N.W. Court St. near W. St. Louis St. A Fed Ex box truck driven by James Harris, 37, of Missouri, was turning into a parking spot when a vehicle driven by Henry Sandow, 62, of E. St. Louis, side-swiped the truck. No injuries were reported.
Police responded to St. Rt. 127 at IDOT Shed Road, for a two-vehicle crash. A vehicle driven by Shawn Matecki, 45, of Ashley, was stopped in traffic on St. Rt. 127, waiting to turn left onto Exchange Ave. A vehicle driven by Karl Hake, 16, of Hoyleton, did not stop in time and subsequently rear-ended Matecki’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Police took a report of IRS fraud on the 1600 block of W. Willowbrook Dr.
Officers responded to a 911 hangup call on the 1300 block of S. Mill St.
Police responded to the 500 block of N. Broadway for an animal complaint.
Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Goodner for a burning complaint.
April 15
Police responded to a three-car crash on E. St. Louis St. west of S. Mill St. A vehicle driven by Christy Lackey, of Nashville, was parked and began to enter the eastbound lane and did not see an approaching vehicle driven by Allyson Grabowski, of DuBois. Lackey’s vehicle struck the passenger side of Grabowski’s vehicle, which then caused Grabowski’s vehicle to spin into a parked vehicle that had been driven by Bryan Warren, of Edwardsville.
Police took a report of IRS fraud from the 200 block of N. Hoffman St.
Officers responded to the intersection of St. Rt. 15 and St. Rt. 127 for two male transients.
Police were requested to assist with a property exchange on the 600 block of S. Kaskaskia St.
April 16
Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Maple St. for a domestic battery. James Kozuszek, of Nashville, was charged with aggravated domestic battery and resisting arrest.
