April 14

The Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Michelle D. Baker, 36, of Mt. Vernon, for operating a motor vehicle while registration suspended and for possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams.

April 15

The Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Shawn M. Moore, 44, of Hillsdale, Mo., for driving while license suspended.

April 16

Brett A. Stinson, 45, of McLeansboro, was arrested for driving while license suspended, possession of cannabis, and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe and needle.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted a resident of New Minden with a property exchange.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a one vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. John A. Kwiathowski, 17, of Radom, lost control of his vehicle and and struck a ditch on Co. Hwy. 17, south of Montana Rd.

The Sheriff’s Dept. took a request for assistance with a civil property exchange.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted a motorist on U.S. Hwy. 51.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a traffic crash at 23403 St. Rt. 15, Ashley. A vehicle driven by Imanie M.L. Harris, 21, of Glenwood, left the roadway, damaging a culvert and a mailbox. Harris was injured and taken from the scene to a hospital, the vehicle was towed away.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted the Nashville Police Department with a domestic battery investigation.

April 17

The Sheriff’s Dept. arrested James P. Kozuszek, 35, of Nashville, on a Washington County warrant.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted a motorist on I-64 near the 50 mile marker who had a blown out tire.

April 18

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted the Nashville Police Department with traffic control due to a two-vehicle accident.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to Covington Rd. for a roll-over ATV accident. The driver, Ronald Hill, and passenger, Kristina Hill, were ejected from the ATV. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
