When you mail a get well card to someone in the hospital, write that persons home address for the return address on the envelope. If the person goes home before your card gets to the hospital, their return address makes certain they get the card.

Stanley and Ora Mae Droege accompanied Roy and Betty Brammeier to Herrin Saturday afternoon where Carbondale Little Egypt Chorus presented “Harmony and Laughter” at the Herrin Civic Center. Performing was the chorus, Quartets; Pitch Catchers, Touch of Olde, Classic Intervals, and featuring guest quartet “Take Note from Chicago”. A former Okawville High School graduate Charlie Cralley performs with the Touch of Olde. They say, why we do it- it’s fun! Barbershop Harmony expresses a message from an era when people enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Singing is good for your health. Take time to sing.

There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive at Washington County Hospital in Nashville Tuesday, May 12 12:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. All presenting donors will receive a Red Cross Cooler, while supplies last.
The weather cooperated beautifully Saturday morning for St. Johns Church Cleaning, as well Sunday morning for their congregational breakfast. Wonder how many churches still have the congregation during an annual church cleaning? Usually is a good fellowship time, too.
