‘Music Around The World’ Recital In Hoyleton

Music Around the World was the theme for Kathy Unverfehrt’s Piano Students’ Recital held Sunday, May 3 at Unverfehrt Farm Supply in Hoyleton. Over 70 people attended this event. Each student played one or two pieces on the piano while they revolved slowly around on the carousel – thus the theme: “Music Around the World.” Students included (seated, left to right): Nora and Sopia Wood, daughters of Pastor Eric and Emily Wood of Okawville; Lily and Kaylyn Cragen, daughters of Scott and Jennifer Cragen of Okawville. Standing: John Blumhorst, son of Ryan and Amy Blumhorst of Nashville; Mollee Eickmeyer, daughter of Steve and Laurie Eickmeyer of Hoyleton; Brooke and Amy Harris, daughters of Joel and Sheila Harris of Radom; and Ellie Johnston, daughter of Jeremy and Amanda Johnston of Hoffman. Back: Sandy Taylor, daughter of James and Esther Taylor of Hoyleton; Rebecca Shopinski, daughter of Jason and Carrie Shopinski of Hoyleton; Emily Schnitker, daughter of Darren and Karianne Schnitker of Hoyleton; Shana Lueking, daughter of Doug and Sheila Lueking of Hoffman; and Kirsten Twenhafel, daughter of Todd and Cheryl Twenhafel of Nashville. Students unable to attend were Lexi Welte, Emma Grathwohl and Amanda Travis.
