St. Ann Student Council chose the ALS Association of St. Louis as this year’s Community Service project. The students were given the option of paying a buck to untuck their shirts each Friday during Lent. The final activity was their “Walk to Defeat ALS,” on Friday, April 17. The students, together with parishioners and school families who donated, raised $570, which is being forwarded to ALS Association. The money collected will go to help the support efforts of the ALS Association for families afflicted by the disease. The St. Ann staff and students dedicated the “Walk to Defeat ALS” to Mrs. Paszkiewicz’s husband who was diagnosed with ALS.
