On Thursday, May 7, the annual Nashville Community High School FFA Banquet was held, honoring students for a year that frankly, has been packed with achievements.
Among the NCHS FFA Chapter’s honors are a 3 STAR National Ranking, Triple Gold in state competition, National Finalist Chapter in State Competition, and in the State of Illinois, NCHS FFA is ranked number seven– out of 323 chapters.
Leading this 72 member FFA Chapter is the Major Officer Team, including president Kari Hake, vice president Megan Decker, reported Kendall Dodson, secretary Mark Dalman, treasurer Kirstin Pillow, historian Tianna Kozuszek, sentinel Francis Heimann, parliamentarian Brendon Schettler, and chaplain Sarah Herrmann. Overseeing all of the FFA students is agriculture instructor Julie Bond-Ledford.
