New 4-H Shooting Sports Club
Starting Soon
We are excited to announce that the 4-H Rifle Club will begin their season on Friday, June 5. Plans are to meet every other Friday for the duration of the summer. The club meets from 9 to 11 a.m. Location is 22540 State Rt. Beaucoup (one mile east of Beaucoup by Texas Ave.). Please contact the Extension office at 618-327-8881 to get your name put on the list if you are interested in joining this exciting club!
As an adult volunteer, are you interested in helping out with our newly formed 4-H Shooting Sports Club? If so, please let us know! Each discipline is taught by an adult National or State Certified Instructor who has attended an extensive training program. Youth learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, the principles of shooting and much more.
A Find Out meeting for Parents and Kids will be held on May 18th at the Washington County Extension Office from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Please make plans to attend. Enrollment forms and safety practices will be discussed at this meeting.
