Mr. Raymond L. Lisk of Nashville departed this life at his residence in Nashville on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:48 p.m. He had attained the age of 58 years, six months and 27 days.
Mr. Lisk was born on October 8, 1956 in Pinckneyville to Jerome and Rita (Dudek) Lisk. They preceded him in death.
Raymond met Cindy Reinhardt in the spring of 1979 and they married March 6, 1982. Their love was made complete when they both found Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Cindy survives to carry on their life of sharing the love of their God.
Raymond was the oldest of seven siblings: Pat Lisk, Dean (Angie) Lisk, Ann (Mike) Polczynski, Sylvester (Jill) Lisk, Madalyn (Randy) Hoepker and Chris Lisk. He was particularly close to his two oldest brothers, Dean and Vess.
He was Uncle Raymond to 11 nieces and nephews that were treasures to his heart: Janine, Sawyer, Eben, Hayden, Easten, Seldon, Grant, Logan, Saxton, Camden and Wyatt.
Raymond is also survived by Cindy’s parents, Don and Linda Reinhardt and her brother, David Reinhardt.
Raymond began life as a farmer. He spent some time working as an adjustor for Mutual Hail Crop Insurance. Since 1992, he has served as the Jail Supervisor with the Washington County Sherriff’s Department.
2002 was the most vital year of change in Raymond’s life. He surrendered his heart to Jesus Christ and became a new creation. Among his greatest joys were time spent worshiping, learning and sharing about the Lord. He was a member of The Healing Place (Nashville Assembly of God).
Per the wishes of Raymond and his family, cremation was performed and a memorial service will be held at Nashville Assembly of God Church in Nashville on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12 p.m. with Reverends Scott and Syd Osenbaugh officiating. Interment of the Ashes will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville.
Friends may call at the Nashville Assembly of God Church in Nashville on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Assembly of God and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, in charge of arrangements.
