Congratulations to Paulette Leonard and Craig Ratermann on accepting their nominations to fill the two open seats on the St. Michael Parish Council. Thank you for accepting this responsibility to serve our parish. They will take their seats on the council at the June meeting.

St. Michael parishioners, during the month of May their will be a table with Vases in front of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s altar if you want to bring flowers to put in the vases as we remember her in this month of May.

We need prizes for our upcoming raffle at our Parish Picnic on Saturday, Aug. 8. Currently there is a sign up book in the back of church where you can write down your prize until the end of May, or you may drop a note in the collection basket or you may contact the parish office at 618-485-6461 or Bernie Kabat.

Looking for a fun summer activity? We have a solution. Mark your calendars for June 28 for a fun day at the Miner’s ballgame in Marion. The youth ministry of St. Charles and St. Michael are sponsoring the event. We are offering $8 tickets for $5. More details will be published in the near future. This event is open to all parishioners and their families. To get registered for this day just pay your $5 to either Justin Jurkowski or Judy Pieszchalski.

If you have any news or anything from visits or events you attended for the Radom Column contact me at the number above. Have a great week!
