Sheriff’s Report

April 27

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department arrested Brittani N. Scerba, 23, of Nashville, on a traffic stop, over a Jefferson County warrant. Scerba was issued citations for no insurance and no seatbelt.

April 28

The Sheriff’s Dept. reported a two-vehicle crash on DuBois Blacktop Rd., east of Panther Creek Rd. Timothy L. Harvel, 55, of Oakdale, crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Jason R. Skiles, 26, of DuQuoin. No injuries were reported, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to the Hoyleton Sewer Plant in response to a report of illegal dumping.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a report of theft in Venedy.

A Sheriff’s Dept. deputy met with Marilyn Aaron, 58, of Nashville, for a report of identity theft.

The Sheriff’s Dept. assisted the Okawville Police Department with a traffic stop on I-64.

April 29

Claudie E. Rickett, 34, of Nashville, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Dept. on a Franklin County warrant for domestic battery and a Jackson county warrant for a traffic offense.

Deva D. Essington, 25, of Nashville, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Dept. on a warrant out of Marion County for failure to appear.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to I-64 near Okawville for a report of domestic problems.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to a report of cows on the road in rural Oakdale.

The Sheriff’s Dept. took a report of identity theft from a resident of Addieville.

The Sheriff’s Dept. responded to N. Second St. in Ashley for a report of criminal damage to property.
