Mr. James P. Kozuszek of Nashville departed this life in Carlyle on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 8:20 a.m. He had attained the age of 35 years, two months and nine days.
Mr. Kozuszek was born on March 21, 1980 in Breese, the son of Richard and Sharon (Dauer) Kozuszek.
James was employed by Southern Illinois Beverage in Nashville as a route driver. He was of the Catholic faith and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his kids.
Left to mourn his passing is his mother, Sharon Kozuszek of Irvington; his fiancée, Amy Rees of Nashville; seven children, Alex Richardson of Nashville, Tyler and Cameron Kozuszek of Mt. Vernon, Rhyker Rees, Makenzie, Miley and Max Kozuszek all of Nashville; five brothers and sisters, Steven (Patty) Kozuszek of Centralia, Christine Diesing of Carlyle, Rick (fiancée Beth Snyder) Kozuszek of Waltonville, Laurie (fiancé Eric Simmson) Kozuszek and Brandon (Trista) Kozuszek all of Irvington; 11 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley on Thursday, June 4 at 8 p.m. with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating. Per the wishes of James’s family, cremation will be performed after services.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley on Thursday, June 4 from 5 p.m. until the service hour.
Should friends desire memorials can be made to the family of James Kozuszek and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
